Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj is known as a great poet-saint and one of India’s foremost poets. In his memory, a Poetry Fest is celebrated every year at Darshan Academy, Partap Gate, Kaithal with great zeal and enthusiasm. The final round of Poetry Fest was held on November 23, 2023. The students enthusiastically participated in the competition as they got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The students selected different poems and recited them with great fondness. Some teachers and parents also participated in the competition. They were judged by parameters such as confidence, voice modulation and overall presentation. The young poets impressed everyone with their articulation and memory skills while reciting poems. The winners of Poem Writing and Poem Recitation also received awards on this occasion. Everyone was delighted after seeing the pleasing performances.
