Darshan Academy, Pratap Gate, Kaithal, celebrated the 80th birthday of Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj with great enthusiasm and joy as part of Rajinder Week – Peace and Meditation.
The celebration began with an energetic morning prayer, followed by ten minutes of meditation, creating an atmosphere of peace and positivity. The highlight of the day was the release of 80 balloons, symbolising happiness and harmony.
Students presented vibrant dance performances and soulful bhajans, while teachers also added to the devotional spirit with melodious bhajans. Badges were distributed to students as a token of appreciation and encouragement for their participation. The spirit of celebration extended to community service through the Roti Bank initiative, where students and teachers distributed pulao to people in need, spreading the message of kindness and humanity.
The presence of Manager Shri R. L. Gambhir and LMC members added grace to the occasion. The Principal encouraged students to practise love, compassion, humility, and selfless service.
The programme concluded with chocolates for the children and a prayer for world peace, leaving everyone with hearts full of joy, gratitude and positivity.
