Independence Day is celebrated every year with great zeal and exhilaration in the whole country to commemorate India’s freedom from the British. Darshan Academy, Partap Gate, Kaithal, also celebrated its 77th Independence Day by organizing various activities on the school campus, including a face painting competition, hand band making, a cultural program and speeches. The celebration ended after the flag hoisting and sweets distribution. On this occasion, the students were encouraged to respect the nation and feel privileged to be a part of such a great country with a glorious past.
