On September 5, 2024, Darshan Academy celebrated Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm and respect. The event, held in the school assembly hall, was a special occasion dedicated to honoring the invaluable contributions of teachers. The day began with a special assembly organized by the students, followed by a formal ceremony where the Lion’s Club Great honored our esteemed teachers. The students from various classes showed their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers. Mayank from Grade VIII delivered a motivational speech highlighting the significance of Teachers’ Day and the role of teachers in shaping the future of students.
Students from different classes performed various cultural programmes, including songs, poems, couplets in Sanskrit etc. that depicted the unique bond between teachers and students. A floral tribute was paid to Dr Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan. The school welcomed representatives from the Lion’s Club, who had graciously agreed to honour the teachers on this special day. The Lion’s Club members presented each teacher with a token of appreciation. The celebration continued with the staff of Darshan Academy 5th Mile. Mr Susheel Kumar, the Principal greeted the teachers and Mr R.L.Gambhir concluded the programme with a beautiful heart touching story followed by vote of thanks.
